Why Commitment and not Cash is the call of the day.

With the approach of the election season , candidates turn to their cash safes for help.We see parties, movie nights, dinners and a lot more but should this be the prime reason why a candidate should win ?

Most of us experienced this last year. There were at least 3 to 4 events by competetors, each trying to outclass, almost literally in cash terms, the other. All of them aimed to get the new entrants on their side and, to be brutally honest, we felt for it. I won't like to comment on the amount of satisfaction, or dissatisfaction we felt after the results but one thing was for sure,Commitment and honesty didn't prove out to be the primary criterion for votes.

I hope things change this time around, and voters think twice before deciding anything.

my views on this mite b smewat biased as u knw i stood up for a post and lost election although me and my panel members took many good initiatives like asking admin to haf candidate speeches and ol... but still v lost thr were many reasons behind it but lack of commitment and honesty wasnt the one... infact presence of these traits honesty and truthfulness deprived me and my panel of ol 3 available posts... it was all about dirty messy politics playing with juniours emotions telling lies and many such thngs...
ths year it will happen again and next year too and year after tht... bot cz dirty politics is must to win elections but cz without it most of IBAns thnk that elections r of no use...
i hope tht new comers will focus more on experience and achievements of candidate rather thn listening to friends tht whom to vote for...
trust me if u vote for a wrong person u will keep cursing urself for whole one year...

exactly my point !!

Thats what we felt for last year my friend... and thats what people need to look out for... its not that someone who spends money is not honest, its just that you must not prioritize money or parties for your vote, even persuasion through friends is very very common... although this cannot be curbed, voters need to identify potentials rather than friends...
